Outsourcing, compared

Outsource your outbound, or install it.

Outbound sales outsourcing hands the whole function to a third party. It works, until the day you want it back. This page sets out what outsourced outbound services deliver, the cost of never owning the function, and the third option: build it once, inside your business, and keep it.

The outsourcing bargain, stated plainly.

Outsourcing outbound is a clean trade. You hand an outbound sales agency your target market and your offer. They supply people, tools, sending infrastructure and process, and in return you pay a monthly fee and receive meetings. You do not have to hire, train, buy software, warm domains or learn what a bounce rate is. For a lot of companies that is exactly the point.

The bargain has a clause most people do not read until later. Everything that makes the function work is on the provider's side. The list is in their database seat. The domains and inboxes belong to them, and their reputation is shared with every other client sending through the same infrastructure. The copy that finally got replies, the segment that converted, the twelve months of data about your market: all of it is theirs to keep. Outbound lead generation services are built to be sticky, because a client who owns nothing cannot leave without starting over.

So the real price of outsourcing is not the retainer. It is that the retainer never ends, because the alternative is going back to zero.

Outsourced versus installed.

The costs page lays out the tool stack at four volumes. At 10,000 emails a month it is $521 all-in, at 20,000 it is $800, because most of the stack is flat-rate. An outsourced service at the same volumes charges a multiple of that, every month, and keeps the machine.

What installing outbound looks like.

The install is the outsourced function, built inside your business in thirty days and handed over. It starts with your company brain: positioning, ideal customer, offer and voice, written once so every campaign starts from the same understanding. It connects to the tools you already use, so lists appear in Sheets, deals in Attio or HubSpot, and replies in Slack. There is no new dashboard.

It builds target lists of accounts and named people, deduped against your CRM, with every email and mobile verified before it sends. It watches for buying signals, from job changes and funding to hiring and social engagement, with ninety more you can switch on. Then campaigns go out by email and LinkedIn, in your voice, from your warmed domains, and replies are sorted automatically.

At the end of thirty days you own the system, every account and credential, a trained team, and ninety days of direct support. I personally build and install every one. No junior staff, no automated service. The results from the same system are on the does-it-work page →

When outsourcing is the better answer.

Outsource if outbound is a temporary need, if nobody in the business will ever read a reply or open the sheet, or if your sale depends on phone conversations that a system cannot have. Outsource if you are testing a completely new offer and want to know within six weeks whether anyone cares. These are good reasons and an honest agency will serve you well.

Install if outbound is going to be part of how you sell for years, if you have or want someone whose calendar should be full, or if you have already outsourced once and remember what it felt like to leave with nothing. Install if the arithmetic of paying a retainer forever, for a function that costs about $500 a month to run, no longer makes sense to you.

Either way the guarantee holds: if the system does not generate qualified meetings in ninety days from launch, you get the fee back and keep the domains, the accounts and the system.

Questions we get asked

Before you book a call.

What does outbound sales outsourcing cost?

Outsourced outbound services and outbound sales agencies typically charge a monthly retainer in the low-to-mid thousands, often with a minimum term, and the fee continues as long as you want meetings. The install is one fee, paid once, plus about $500 a month in tool costs paid straight to the providers.

Can I outsource the running of the install too?

Yes. After the handover you choose: I keep running it, your team runs it, or I train them to take over. The difference from outsourcing is that the system, the accounts and the data are in your name whichever you pick.

Is the install a done-for-you service?

The build is done for you, end to end, in thirty days. What you receive at the end is a working system you own, not a subscription to someone else's.

How long before it produces meetings?

The first campaign launches at the end of the 30-day build, with your team at the keyboard and me watching. The guarantee gives the system ninety days from launch to generate qualified meetings.

What if we already outsource outbound?

Keep the provider running while the install is built, then run both for a month and compare cost per meeting. Most clients cancel the retainer once the owned system is producing.

Want this running in your business?

Thirty days to install. Ninety days to prove it. If it doesn't generate qualified meetings, full refund.

One fee, paid once, in exchange for a case study. Tool costs go directly to the providers, and nothing recurring comes from us.
